Tony was somehow still cleaning up after the party, frowning at the disturbing collection of chip flavors leftover from it.

"Maybe Kitty would like them?" he muttered to himself. Pregnant women were supposed to have odd cravings, right?

"Inferiority complex," Steve replied immediately, grinning and reaching his hand into a bag of chips without reading the front.

Enjoy those grilled cheese and ketchup sandwich flavored chips, Steve. After all, you bought them.

"Yeah, those poor Army grunts," Tony replied with a sly grin.

Steve through a potato chip at him. "Hilarious."

Tony blew him a kiss for that. "Sorry, I have more friends in the Air Force, darling."

"Hmph," Steve said, cleaning up a small mountain of red Solo cups.

"You're still my favorite," Tony called after him.

"I believe you," Steve said, smiling.

Which just made Tony smile as he picked up a half full garbage bag toss in more unfortunate beer bottles. "At least we didn't have that HYDRA beer around this time."

"Hooray for small favors," Steve laughed.

"You would have died if you drank it!"

Because, well, look at teen you, Steve. Look at him.

Steve laughed louder. "I wasn't that fragile, Tony."

"I still wanted to wrap you in a blanket the whole time," Tony replied. "Maybe one of those plastic bubbles."

Steve made a face at him. "You're weren't that subtle about that impulse."

"And you were perpetually ready to defend my honor," Tony pointed out, turning to smiled fondly at him.

"That one's still true," Steve said, smiling back.

"My hero," he replied, stifling a grin as he batted his eyelashes at Steve.

Steve moved close enough to kiss him. "Going to go to med school for me, huh?" he said.

"I still could," Tony said, snagging him by the shirt in case Steve didn't think he was serious.

"I don't really think that's necessary any more," Steve said, resting his forehead against Tony's.

"A new doctorate to keep the relationship fresh," he teased.

"Is that what they say?" Steve laughed.

"Pretty sure I read it in an issue of Cosmo," Tony replied, pulling him into another kiss.

"You read a lot of Cosmo?" Steve teased, kissing him back.

"Have to read those hot tips," Tony replied, smiling into that kiss.

"Can't say I've ever read it," Steve said. "Am I missing out?"
