Apartment Above Stark Industries, Valentine's Day

There wasn't a massive stuffed animal or way, way too many flowers waiting for Steve in the apartment this year. If only because Tony had learned his lesson about those. Kind of.

He hadn't learned his lesson about making reservations at places that Steve could never, ever learn the real price tag of.

And there were still just a few dozen roses in hiding for when Steve finished getting ready to go. Look, he was doing his best at being restrained here!

"So're you," Steve said a little nonsensically.

But. Tony's leg up over his hip. He was a little distracted, okay.

Weird! Tony didn't think he was being too distracting.

"I want you to fuck me in this suit," Tony said. Because that was distracting. That right there.

"If I push you against the window, we can pretend to care about the Eiffel Tower," Steve offered.

Tony beamed at him, rolling his hips appreciatively at the suggestion. Which was, of course, the point when room service knocked on the door. Because they knew this was coming. And yet.

And yet.

"Dammit," Steve muttered, kissing Tony one more time. "Coming!"

Tony sighed and slumped back against the wall for a moment to catch his breath. "Make sure the wine is there!"

"Yes, dear," Steve said, opening the door--and hiding behind it, a bit. Because reasons. "Here's fine," he told the hotel staffer. "Um. Merci."

Speaking French was a little behind his fried brain's capacity right now.

"Need some help with that?" Tony asked with a suggestive grin only once the cart of food and wine was left behind for them.

Steve made a face at him. "You were giving me some help with that before we were so terribly interrupted."

Tony blew a kiss at him. "What can I say? You're irresistible."

Steve blushed. "Well, we haven't even managed to look at the Eiffel Tower. We're experiencing some focus problems."

"Open the wine and we can enjoy the view," Tony promised. "Blowjobs optional."

The last part was mostly to get him to turn redder still.

Well, mission accomplished as Steve kind of skittered over to the wine, blushing. "Do they have to be optional?"

"They're always optional," Tony said with a casual wave of his hand. "It's not a demand."

He was such a little shit.

"Can it be a request?" Steve asked, bringing two very full glasses of wine over.

"Of course, dear," Tony said, taking his glass and kissing Steve for being so kind.

"Then yes, please, to Eiffel Towers and blow jobs," he said, blushing.

Then felt to add, "but not blow jobs at the Eiffel Tower."

"I only want to be supportive if it's a thing for you," he teased, gently pulling Steve along to an oversized arm chair facing the massive windows that looked out at the city.

Steve followed along, careful not to spill his wine and smiling. "I'd worry the entire time about getting caught."

Tony smartly set his glass down on a nearby table before settling onto chair. It was plenty large enough for own and a cozy fit for two. "I'd make sure you wouldn't."

Tony, no.

"How would you do that?" Steve asked, snuggling in against Tony. "Without buying the Eiffel Tower."

"Well, now you've limited my options," he teased, resting his head against Steve's shoulder.

Steve kissed the top of Tony's head. "I know how much you love a challenge."

"Is that your gift to me?" he teased.

"No," Steve murmured, blushing. "I might've...bought some things."
