JARVIS and the Mouse overlord had pushed some older movies up into Steve's List of Things to Watch to Understand Tony's References. Though some of them may have just been added because healthy levels of strife were good for the soul.

"Couldn't we watch that new Space Battles show?" Tony asked, concerned for Steve's taste levels here.

Tony wrapped his arms around him to keep him close for a kiss. "God, I love you."

"I love you more," Steve teased, nudging his nose against Tony's.

"Agree to disagree," Tony replied, tolting his face for another kiss.

Steve kissed him, then nipped at his favorite spot on Tony's neck, just under his ear.

"C'mon. Pants off you too," Tony murmured, too distracted to help for now.

Steve smirked as he removed the rest of his clothing, too. "Bossy," he murmured back.

And still 1940s enough to feel a little embarrassed about being naked in the living room.

Did it help that Tony shamelessly ogled him the entire time? Because that's what he did.

"Much better."

Steve blushed all the way down. "Thank you."

"No, thank you," Tony replied, holding out a hand to pull him back in close.

Steve was more than happy to be the one straddling Tony now and leaned in for a longer kiss, feeling a little dumb about needing the reassurance.

"You are absolutely amazing," Tony murmured into the kiss.

"You're supposed to say that," Steve teased softly.

"Doesn't make it any less true," Tony replied, cupped Steve's face in his hands.

Steve smiled down at him. "I love you."

"You have to say that," he echoed with a quick grin.

"Because communication is important," Steve recited, grinning back.

Tony's grin softened to something fond and private before he kissed Steve again. "Look at us learning."

Because Steve was still faintly terrified Tony would realize that Steve wasn't all that special and leave.

"I want to keep you."

Which seemed highly unlikely from Tony's point of view. "I think you're well on your way to that."

Considering all the marriage conversations.

Steve kissed him again. "Just checkin' in."

"As long as you'll have me, I'm yours," Tony murmured.

"I am planning to never let go," Steve murmured back.

"Works for me," he replied with a playful little nip at Steve's bottom lipm

"Plus, of course, you are an incredible kisser," Steve teased, "and I'm spoiled for anyone else."

"It's my trap to keep you," Tony replied with a quiet laugh.
