Well, they'd had another repeat kid. One from a less than ideal timeline from the sound of things. But it was consistent. That had to be good, right?

Right.

At least that's what Tony was hoping as he'd added more backup plans to his list based on the little tidbits she'd dropped here and there. Because that was just how he rolled when faced with bizarre scenarios.

But right now? Right now he was going to spend the evening with Steve to make up for, well, everything about the weekend. "I ordered pizza," he called once he heard Steve and the dog coming back from a walk.

"But I still get to buy you a hat, right? Maybe some vacation clothes."

Would it be more than a tiny swimsuit? Unknown.

Steve laughed. "You can buy me some vacation clothes."

And he packed some normal things, too.

"Perfect." Mission success in getting to be a sugar daddy.

Steve kissed him again, smiling fondly. "You do enjoy shopping for me."

But then Steve had never gotten a room sized bunny.

There might be one in Greece, though.

"It makes me feel useful."

"You're always useful," Steve said.

"You're legally obligated to say that," Tony informed him.

"I'm really not," Steve said, moving to taking Tony's shirt off.

"It was in the vows," Tony insisted with a laughas he tugged on Steve's shirt once his own was off.

"I'm pretty sure I'd remember that but then people did come in and start shooting--"

"Easy to miss," Tony agreed, tugging him into a kiss.

"Sure," Steve said, reaching down to give Tony's ass a squeeze. Tony wasn't the only one to appreciate a butt in this pair.

Tony hummed in approval of it, kissing him more intently as an encouragement.

Steve smiled. "Hi."

"Hello," Tony replied with an answering grin.

Steve kissed him again. "I'm glad we're back to being us."

"You and me both," Tony said, reaching up to cup Steve's face in his hands for that kiss.

Steve sighed softly into the kiss. "God, I love you."

"No one can stop us." You know. Other than them.

And that happened more often than either of them would like, really.

"Other than Patriot."

[imafuturist]

"Well, Patriot." He was unstoppable.

Like a tiny, fuzzy Thanos.

"I promise not to get in my own way again," Steve said more earnestly.

"I promise to trust you more," Tony said. "To... try not to let our stubbornness get the better of us both."

Because it was them, after all.

Steve nodded. "I promise that too." He smiled. "That sounds more like a vow than the dressing me thing."

Tony laughed and pulled him into another kiss. "It does," he had to admit.
