Rockafeller Center Christmas Tree - NYC - Sunday Afternoon

Well, it had felt necessary to do the tourist thing and go look at the tree with the mass of people leading up to the holiday. The urge to do this was quickly passing as they were in the moment of it.

Mostly because it was too cold for Steve and too crowded for the both of them. But it was a pretty tree at least. The lone upside to the whole afternoon here.

"We can say we saw it now," Tony suggested, arm curled around Steve's and all bundled up in winter gear that was probably too expensive for where they were. Like he was just asking to be pickpocketed or something.

(Joke was on them, he never remembered to carry a wallet because why would he?)

"I can?" Steve asked.

"Of course, it's your hotel, remember?"

"I don't want to step on toes," Steve said, pressing his lips together.

Tony leaned over to kiss him for that. "I insist."

Steve kissed him back. "I have some ideas," he admitted.

"Then I look forward to seeing next time we stay here," Tony murmured.

It would be new and entirely different again! And Steve would cringe about the money spent.

"Burgundies and navy, maybe?" he suggested with a grin.

Look, everyone needed their hobbies. And they couldn't bake, so...

"Sounds perfect!"

And yet they were teach a class! That would go well.

"Us, but not so...primary," Steve said.

It'd go great.

"Not a fan of the red and blue?" he teased.

"I am but not in a bedroom," Steve said. "In a...school gym, sure."

Tony snickered at that. "Okay, okay. More subdued."

"As subdued as anything that is a little of you can ever be," Steve said, kissing him.

Tony tugged him along, not breaking that kiss as he pulled Steve toward the bathroom. "Get the tub going. I'll grab a towel for you."

"Make sure it's a big fluffy one," Steve said, finally pulling away.

"I'll see what I can find," Tony promised.

Skimpy. So skimpy.

Washcloth mishap!

"Sounds good!" Steve called back, starting the water and looking around for bubble bath stuff.

Which was very much something imported from France. Because of one trip there and some passing comment from Steve. And Tony being Tony.

"And I'll get a pizza ordered," he promised.

"Pizza in a bathtub sounds decadent," Steve said, finding the bubbly stuff. "This smells familiar!"

"You said you liked it!" And that explained everything if you asked him.

"Did I?" Steve asked, blinking.

"In Paris that one time," Tony said, peeking in with a phone in hand.

Steve's whole face lit up. "You really remembered that?"

"You don't always say when you like something, so I made a note."

Possibly in a spreadsheet somewhere.

Steve stood up from the bath to go over and give Tony a kiss. "Thank you."
