Tony had promised to go all out for Steve's birthday and goddamnit, he was doing just what he promised.

He'd probably have to get JARVIS to not spill how much it cost, though. Yeah, that was going on the list.

But it was more than worth the view, watching the sun rise with a cup of coffee while Steve finished up his usual morning marathon.

"Every now and then?" Tony repeated with a bark of laughter.

"Friday nights and every other Tuesday," Steve said, nodding Very Sincerely.

"I'll work harder to get Wednesdays in there too," Tony replied, biting his bottom lip to hold back more laughter.

Steve grinned up at him. "Yeah, I feel like you really aren't putting your back into it these days."

Brat.

Tony raised his eyebrows at that and leaned back against the vanity. "Is that so?"

Because that sounded like a challenge there.

Steve smirked. "Maybe--"

They were going to end up breaking something, huh.

Just a few things! Replaceable things! Probably.

Tony pulled him closer, scooting himself precariously close to the edge of the vanity. "Allow me to prove otherwise."

Steve hummed against Tony's skin. "All right."

"What should I do first?" he asked, trailing his fingers down the back of Steve's neck. "Should I ride you?"

"God," Steve whispered. "Please, yes."

"Better get me ready for you," he teased, glancing up and down Steve.

Steve kissed him again, nipping his lower lip. "Bed?"

"Bed," Tony agreed with a delighted laugh.

"Suppose I need to carry you there, too, lazybones," Steve teased, not making the least bit of effort to let go of Tony at all.

"I can walk if you'd prefer..."

"It turns out that I don't prefer that at all," Steve said, taking Tony with him to the absolutely massive bed in the master suite.

Which meant Tony laughed and kissed his neck as he was hauled over there. "You spoil me, sweetheart."

"You're easy to spoil when me manhandling you makes you this happy," Steve teased.

"It makes me feel... smaller," Tony said, pulling him down onto the bed. "In a good way? If that makes any sense."

"Taken care of?" Steve suggested.

"Exactly," Tony replied, pulling him down for a kiss.

"Good," Steve said when he came up for breath. "That's what I'm going for."

"Yeah?" Tony asked, smiling and arching his back to press up against him.

"I don't want you to feel fragile," Steve said, kissing down Tony's chest. "I want you to feel cherished."

"I cherish you too," Tony said. He sighed and closed his eyes as Steve moved. "Every moment you trust me to take care of your needs."
