Well, they'd had another repeat kid. One from a less than ideal timeline from the sound of things. But it was consistent. That had to be good, right?

Right.

At least that's what Tony was hoping as he'd added more backup plans to his list based on the little tidbits she'd dropped here and there. Because that was just how he rolled when faced with bizarre scenarios.

But right now? Right now he was going to spend the evening with Steve to make up for, well, everything about the weekend. "I ordered pizza," he called once he heard Steve and the dog coming back from a walk.

Steve laughed and kissed him again. "It's not that interesting."

"I'm being appreciative," Tony assured him.

"Oh, in that case, carry on," Steve said.

"Damn right," Tony said with a laugh.

Steve rested his forehead against Tony's, smiling. "I love you."

"Love you too," Tony murmured back.

Steve slid his fingers through Tony's hair. "Good."

He loved the relaxed, homey, calm feeling he got in their room.

"Should we take some time away during this break in classes?" Tony suggested like some sort of invasion wouldn't just completely ruin those plans.

"That sounds wonderful," Steve said. "We haven't been back to Greece in a while?"

"Greece it is," Tony agreed. "Get you a suntan before the summer classes start up."

[heroic_jawline]

"Well, there's a first time for everything," Steve said a little dryly.

"I won't let you burn this time," Tony promised. Though, really, it would be JARVIS who would remind them to put on more sunscreen.

Steve kissed him. "I appreciate that."

And JARVIS.

"Gotta keep you you hale and healthy, don't I?" he teased.

[heroic_jawline]

"And unsunburned," Steve agreed.

"Ideally, yes," Tony replied with a nod.

[heroic_jawline]

"I don't love getting sunburned," Steve said.

And yet they got distracted every time.

Tony kissed him again. "I'll pack you a hat this time."

Yes, let him dress you, Steve.

"...what sort of hat?"

He had married you, Tony. He had the right to be a little concerned.

"A sun hat." You'd look like a mafioso on vacation. Or maybe a big fan of Jimmy Buffet.

"It won't have flowers on it, right?" Steve checked.

[imafuturist]

"No flowers," Tony replied with a little laugh.

"How about little bows?" Steve asked.

[imafuturist]

"Would you like little bows?"

[heroic_jawline]

"Not even a little," Steve laughed.
