Tony had promised to go all out for Steve's birthday and goddamnit, he was doing just what he promised.

He'd probably have to get JARVIS to not spill how much it cost, though. Yeah, that was going on the list.

But it was more than worth the view, watching the sun rise with a cup of coffee while Steve finished up his usual morning marathon.

Steve smiled softly. "Any time, sweetheart."

Tony let out a relieved little sigh and kissed him again. "Making my heart flutter again, Rogers."

"That's generally my intention," Steve said, smiling again. "Ready to get out?"

"Please," Tony replied, not pulling away because someone happened to enjoy being manhandled.

It took Steve a minute, but then he grinned. "You want to be carried, huh."

"I mean. Well."

Yes. Yes, he did.

Steve laughed, then pulled Tony closer and stood up, bringing him with him. "Love you."

Tony hummed happily, kissing him again. "You like throwing your weight around too."

"Because you really love it when I do," Steve said, carrying Tony over to the ridiculously ornate vanity.

"Objections?" Tony asked.

"None," Steve said, kissing Tony's neck now that he was at a slightly different angle.

Tony sighed, tilting his head back to give Steve all the room he might want to work with. "Good boy," he murmured.

Steve shivered. "Oh, now you're not playing fair," he murmured.

"Don't you like positive reinforcement?" Tony asked with a rumbling little laugh.

"Probably a little too much," Steve replied, holding Tony around the hips and kissing down his throat.

"But you're so good at this, darling," Tony replied, pushing buttons like he was born to do it. "You make me feel amazing."

Steve whimpered, then moved his head further down, stopping to bite gently at Tony's nipples.

Tony inhaled sharply, biting his lip to keep from groaning too loudly. "Just like that--"

Steve ran his tongue back over the skin, then bit down again, slightly harder.

This time around Tony wasnt able to keep quiet, gasping loudly as he fisted his hands in Steve's damp hair.

"Better," Steve murmured, kissing Tony's skin lightly. "Let me hear you."

"It's loud in here," Tony said like that would possibly deter Steve's enjoyment of it.

You know, in an alternate reality.

"Thus the appeal," Steve said, nipping down again.

"Brat," Tony replied, tightening his legs around Steve. "You might need to work for the noises."

"This is not really work, sweetheart," Steve said with a low chuckle.
