Tony had promised to go all out for Steve's birthday and goddamnit, he was doing just what he promised.

He'd probably have to get JARVIS to not spill how much it cost, though. Yeah, that was going on the list.

But it was more than worth the view, watching the sun rise with a cup of coffee while Steve finished up his usual morning marathon.

"I know you're not," Steve said, sinking his teeth into Tony's neck.

"Just taking care of me, huh?" Tony asked, sounding more fond than upset about it.

"For as long as you'll let me," Steve murmured.

"Oh no," he teased, kissing him on the nose. "Whatever shall I do?"

"Keep me," Steve said earnestly.

"You have yourself a deal, sir," Tony replied, kissing him.

Steve kissed him back, slow and thorough.

"Thank you," he murmured once the kiss broke. It was quiet and very sincere. "For... yeah."

Being super understanding about his dumb issues.

Steve smiled softly. "Any time, sweetheart."

Tony let out a relieved little sigh and kissed him again. "Making my heart flutter again, Rogers."

"That's generally my intention," Steve said, smiling again. "Ready to get out?"

"Please," Tony replied, not pulling away because someone happened to enjoy being manhandled.

It took Steve a minute, but then he grinned. "You want to be carried, huh."

"I mean. Well."

Yes. Yes, he did.

Steve laughed, then pulled Tony closer and stood up, bringing him with him. "Love you."

Tony hummed happily, kissing him again. "You like throwing your weight around too."

"Because you really love it when I do," Steve said, carrying Tony over to the ridiculously ornate vanity.

"Objections?" Tony asked.

"None," Steve said, kissing Tony's neck now that he was at a slightly different angle.

Tony sighed, tilting his head back to give Steve all the room he might want to work with. "Good boy," he murmured.

Steve shivered. "Oh, now you're not playing fair," he murmured.

"Don't you like positive reinforcement?" Tony asked with a rumbling little laugh.

"Probably a little too much," Steve replied, holding Tony around the hips and kissing down his throat.

"But you're so good at this, darling," Tony replied, pushing buttons like he was born to do it. "You make me feel amazing."

Steve whimpered, then moved his head further down, stopping to bite gently at Tony's nipples.
