Well, they'd had another repeat kid. One from a less than ideal timeline from the sound of things. But it was consistent. That had to be good, right?

Right.

At least that's what Tony was hoping as he'd added more backup plans to his list based on the little tidbits she'd dropped here and there. Because that was just how he rolled when faced with bizarre scenarios.

But right now? Right now he was going to spend the evening with Steve to make up for, well, everything about the weekend. "I ordered pizza," he called once he heard Steve and the dog coming back from a walk.

"It's funny," Steve agreed. "I guess there's always someone out in the world that kind of looks like you, huh? This one's an actor."

"I think if I had one out there, they'd be making a lot more money," Tony remarked.

"People could get his face tattooed on their arms instead of yours," Steve teased. "Or was that just in my universe?"

Tony had been slightly weirded out by that one.

Tony laughed at that. "Wow, really?"

"Tony met a guy," Steve said, nodding. "The facial hair is tough to get right, apparently."

"No thank you," Tony said, making a face. "Iron Man, sure. Me as a tattoo? No."

"What if I get one with a 'return to Tony' written under it?" Steve teased.

Tony snorted and shook his head. "I'll get you a shirt with it instead."

"Will you get one too?" Steve asked.

"If lost, please return to Steve? Sure." He'd make it look good.

They could wear them at the Pride parade!

"You'll make it work," he said.

"It'll be cute and not... Disney family."

Oh, that was the elitist jumping on out.

"I trust you," Steve said, smiling.

"It'll be next on the list after you new suit," Tony promised.

Steve laughed. "That should give you plenty of time to tweak the design to your standards," he teased.

"With a few prototypes to be safe."

"Well, of course," Steve said. "Everything needs tweaking."

"It's just science," Tony agreed.

Steve laughed. "I know how much you love science," he agreed.

"Right up there with charts and graphs," he teased.

"The best," Steve said with a nod. They were so old.

The old, married couple now, yes. It was their lot on the island.

"Almost up there with geometry," Tony said with a little chuckle.

"Well, if I'd known you were going to bring up geometry I wouldn't've put on a movie at all," Steve teased.

"Really gets you going, doesn't it?"
