Tony had promised to go all out for Steve's birthday and goddamnit, he was doing just what he promised.

He'd probably have to get JARVIS to not spill how much it cost, though. Yeah, that was going on the list.

But it was more than worth the view, watching the sun rise with a cup of coffee while Steve finished up his usual morning marathon.

"Not even a little?" Tony asked with a teasing grin. Because feelings were hard and Steve was much, much too nice to him.

"Not even a little," Steve said, kissing his knee.

Tony sighed in something like relief, slipping around him into the shallow water so he could kiss him properly for that.

Steve kissed him back, keeping it soft and sincere. "I love you."

"Love you too," he murmured back, resting h8s forehead against Steve's.

"What do you need from me, sweetheart?" Steve whispered, kissing him again.

"No, no, no. This week is about you," Tony replied, kissing him again.

"Making you happy is about me," Steve insisted.

Tony chuckled at that, kissing a little trail along Steve's jaw and down his neck. "Oh, really?"

Steve closed his eyes, smiling and letting Tony take conntrol. "Definitely."

"Well, we share wanting to make the other happy," he said, pressing in to straddle Steve's thighs.

Steve smiled wider. "You make me ridiculously happy."

Tony couldn't even try to hide how much that meant to hear, grinning as he kissed him again. "Good. Perfect."

Steve smiled shyly. "Perfect?"

"You are to me, yeah," Tony replied, just forced to kiss him sweetly for that.

Steve smiled against Tony's mouth. "You spoil me so much."

"I treat you like you deserve," Tony corrected, wrapping his arms around Steve's neck.

Steve kissed the hollow of his throat in reply.

Tony closed his eyes and sighed, head tiled back to enjoy more of that. "My fella," he added, knowing how much Steve liked to hear it.

Steve smiled and kissed him again in the same spot. "For as long as you'll keep me."

"Does forever work for you?" He teased, but not really.

Steve felt his stomach flutter at the question. "It really does," he murmured, leaning up to kiss Tony on the mouth.

Tony smiled into that kiss, pushing into him as close as he could get to return it eagerly. "Good."

Yeah, 'good' didn't even begin to cover how much he felt about that.

"Only good?" Steve teased softly.

"Great? Perfect?" Tony said, pressing a biting kiss against his mouth with each word. "Amazing?"
